Finished!
I finished. I hurt pretty bad but I'm wearing that medal all week, by golly. More to report later but I'm just now coming back to life. I will say that even for all the suffering yesterday in the later miles, I think I'm hooked.
You sound in good spirits, so I'm glad it went well. Can't wait to hear the final report. Are those co-workers who thought you were strange for shouting "4 days!" at them now thinking you strange for wearing the medal? Who cares! You wear that medal as long as you want. You deserve it!
